We are currently looking to take on an associate in our intellectual property and innovation counseling team with 2-4 years of relevant intellectual property experience, who will work on intellectual property and commercial transactions for technology and emerging companies.
You will primarily be engaged in structuring, drafting and negotiating a variety of intellectual property/ICT and commercial transactions, including licensing, development, e-commerce, service, distribution and partnering agreements.
You will also deal with intellectual property aspects of mergers and acquisitions and other multidisciplinary transactions.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and entrepreneurial individual with a strong interest in emerging and technology companies to help build Cresco’s growing practices.
Candidates will have obtained a Master degree in Law at a Belgian university. They will have strong academic credentials and excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
Candidates will also have experience in intellectual property transactions and a strong interest in a career focused on intellectual property/ICT and commercial transactions. Subject matter expertise in open source, patents, privacy or copyright laws is also a plus.
Finally, we expect candidates to be able to independently manage projects and client relationships in a fast-paced environment.
