Cresco assisted the Belgian Government in a re-orientation program to improve the financial and operational position of the von Karman Institute for Fluid dynamics (“VKI”). This included a credit facility granted by the Belgian government to VKI, amendments to the articles of association of VKI and the appointment of a new board of directors.
VKI is a non-profit international educational and scientific organisation, founded in 1956 and hosting three departments (aeronautics and aerospace, environmental and applied fluid dynamics, and turbomachinery & propulsion). VKI undertakes and promotes research in the field of fluid dynamics.
