Tessa Gijbels - Partner
Tessa Gijbels focuses on commercial, corporate and real estate law.
Tessa has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, joint-ventures and general corporate advisory work. She assists both domestic and international clients on a variety of commercial matters and contracts in their day-to-day business (such as supply agreements, distribution agreements, franchise agreements, co-operation agreements and general terms and conditions). Furthermore, she advises on real estate related matters (real estate mergers and acquisitions and construction and lease agreements).
Prior to being a partner at Cresco, Tessa was (senior) associate in the corporate and commercial department of Ambos NBGO (2010-2014) and associate in the corporate and transactions department of Loyens & Loeff between 2006 and 2010.
She obtained her master in law at Leuven University (KUL, 2004) and also several post-academic degrees: master in tax law, Leuven University (KUL, 2005) and master in economic law, Catholic University of Louvain-la-Neuve and Sorbonne University of Paris (2006).
