Cresco advises on the formation of Biotope Ventures II

Cresco is honored to have assisted in the structuring and set up of the newest addition to the the biotope by VIB ecosystem, Biotope Ventures II, a new early-stage fund, backed by powerhouses as BNP Paribas Fortis, Agri Investment Fund (AIF), SFPIM Relaunch, anacura, VIB, The Nest Family Office, and Edaphon, with a target capital of EUR 9 million.

Biotope Ventures II aims to support international BioTech startups who are driving positive change for planetary health by providing initial investments of EUR 250,000 so that founders can focus on unlocking the potential of their technology without being distracted by short-term fundraising pressure.

Congrats to biotope by VIB and more specifically Annick Verween, Peter C. Peter C., Anne Helfer, Ilana Taub, and Lore De Valck for the accomplishment of this new milestone.
