Cresco is pleased to announce its role as counsel to AI-BLOX | Edge AI computers, a Brussels-based start-up, in securing a new growth investment from Smartfin.
Founded in 2021, AI-Blox develops compact and modular hardware systems that enable AI applications to run directly on devices. By bringing computational power straight to vehicles, machines, and cameras, AI-Blox addresses the need for real-time processing in physical AI — with applications ranging from autonomous forklifts to smart waste management and healthcare solutions.
Notably, all hardware is produced locally in Belgium, ensuring high quality and strategic control over sensitive data.
With Smartfin on board, AI-Blox will accelerate growth by scaling operations, expanding specialized teams, and strengthening its commercial presence — reinforcing its position as a European leader in next-generation AI infrastructure.
