Cresco partners with Euronext Techshare

Partnership

TechShare , the educational Euronext programme helping Tech companies grow their business

Launched in September 2015, TechShare is a unique pan-European educational and mentoring programme that helps Tech SMEs leaders to familiarize with capital markets, grants access to a comprehensive network of experts and peers and gives participants all the information they need to reach the next stage of their growth.

TechShare, which is free of charge and was primarily rolled out in France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Portugal with 145 participants in 3 classes since 2015, will further expand to Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Spain in 2018.

The programme is built to help companies from TMT (technology, media and telecom), Digital, Life Sciences and CleanTech sectors willing to boost their growth and likely to be interested in the capital markets within 18-36 months.

Euronext’s programme has already helped more than 30 Belgian companies to better understand the role of capital markets. It brings together executives from high-growth and innovative SMEs, with experts, academics and renowned entrepreneurs.

But TechShare is not only a mix of conferences, individual coaching, and academic campuses, it’s also a community of European entrepreneurs facing similar challenges and sharing knowledge and best-practices.

Euronext is now in the process of selecting the candidates for the next edition, starting in September 2018. The 20 companies that will participate in this 4th edition will benefit from a tailor-made training over a 10-month period.

With the help of Cresco and other partners, Euronext has designed a rich and ambitious programme covering topics ranging from the access and reach of financial markets, IPO readiness, the governance question, communication best practices, to the life of a listed company, reporting or the assessment of the fair value of a company…

Fast-growing tech companies can submit their application until 5 June 2018. For more information about TechShare, go to https://tech.euronext.com/en/enternext-services/techshare.

Partnership rationale

David Dessers, corporate technology partner at Cresco, explains why the firm is investing again in this partnership, after having mentored several companies in the successful 2017 edition:

“At Cresco, we are passionate about entrepreneurship and contributing to entrepreneurial growth. We firmly believe that European scale-ups should actively tap the equity capital markets. With Euronext Access and Growth, adapted markets are available at each step of the growth cycle of scale-ups.”
