Cresco acted as lead counsel to EFFEX in its EUR 1.6M funding round, funded by Volta Ventures, Flanders Future Techfund managed by PMV, and the KU Leuven seed fund Gemma Frisius Fonds.
EFFEX developed a new application of Design of Experiments (DoE), with the help of the department of biosystems at KU Leuven, that allows researchers to conduct experiments more efficiently, generating results more swiftly, leading to faster innovation.
The new funds will be used to accelerate its growth.
The team consisting of David Dessers, Elske Bleeker and Emma De Brabandere assisted EFFEX in this transaction.
