Formation of venture capital fund SmartFin Capital II

Cresco advised the general partner of the SmartFin funds in the structuring, formation and fundraising of its largest investment fund to date, SmartFin Capital II with a committed capital of €240 million.

SmartFin Capital II is a growth fund launched and managed by Jürgen Ingels, Bart Luyten, Thomas Depuydt and Bert Baeck.

SmartFin targets growth technology companies, headquartered in the European Union and the United Kingdom, that display the potential for significant value creation.

David Dessers and Anouck Van Elsen constituted the deal team for this transaction and will continue to support the SmartFin funds in their investment and divestment activities.
