TEDxFlanders Main Event “NOW” – 3 April 2019 – deSingel Antwerp

We are happy to announce our continued partnership with TEDxFlanders.

On 3 April 2019, TEDxFlanders will be celebrating its 10th anniversary with the main event “NOW”.

NOW is not only the present, the future is also now – two things that merge in our daily lives. As the world speeds up, we need to slow down to stay in the here and now. We often find ourselves looking back at our past for lessons and guidance, but we also see ourselves looking ahead to see what will shape the future. It takes great courage to keep moving forward while staying in the present. “NOW” is not about instant gratification, but more about the space where we can enjoy the transition between the past and the future. “NOW” gives us the possibility to take in the present moment in all its diversity and complexity.

This event will take us on a journey with eight extraordinary speakers and two show-stopping acts from Belgium and around the world. The TEDxFlanders’ speakers are the most progressive thinkers, dreamers and doers of our time. They are here to inspire you with their stories. They come from diverse fields from technology and science to social change and sustainability.
