Cresco advises Polysense on its USD 10.7 million Seed funding round

Cresco is proud to have advised Polysense on the successful closing of its USD 10.7 million Seed funding round. The round was led by Felix Capital, with participation from Fortino Capital Ventures, Syndicate One and 100IN. The funding will support Polysense’s international expansion, accelerate the development of its AI-powered quality control platform and further its mission of reducing food waste across the food manufacturing industry.

Based in Ghent, Polysense develops AI-powered quality control solutions that enable food manufacturers to monitor and optimize production processes in real time. By combining computer vision with production data, its platform delivers objective and adaptive process control, helping manufacturers reduce food waste while improving product consistency, production yields and operational efficiency. As food manufacturers increasingly face rising input costs, labour shortages and more demanding sustainability targets, solutions that deliver measurable improvements on the production floor are becoming essential.

Building on its strong commercial traction across Europe and its growing presence in the United States and the Middle East, this funding round marks an important milestone in Polysense’s growth journey. The additional capital will enable the company to deploy its technology across more production lines, support a growing international customer base and further establish Polysense as a leading AI innovator for the global food manufacturing industry.

We congratulate founders Yarne De Munck, Jarne Bogaert and Lucas Van Dijck on this important milestone and extend our sincere thanks to Jonathan Bovijn for the excellent collaboration throughout this transaction.
