Cresco is delighted to have acted as legal counsel to Smartfin in its role as lead investor in a $17 million Series A funding round for Emma Technologies, a Luxembourg-based cloud management platform. This round, which also included RTP Global and existing investors, raises Emma’s total funding to €21 million.
Emma Technologies leverages AI-driven automation and multicloud tools to optimize infrastructure, reduce costs, and enhance agility. Since launching its product in 2022, Emma has gained strong traction across sectors like fintech and healthcare. With this funding, the company plans to accelerate product development, expand its go-to-market efforts, and establish a dedicated R&D center, while preparing to enter the U.S. market.
The Cresco deal team was led by Glenn L’hoëst and included Emma De Brabandere, Marie Vercambre, and Aida Kaloci. Cresco is proud to have supported Smartfin in this significant milestone and looks forward to Emma’s continued success in revolutionizing cloud management.
