Partner promotion – Olivier Van Raemdonck

Cresco, a premier Belgian law firm for entrepreneurs, companies and investors, is pleased to announce the appointment of Olivier Van Raemdonck, as partner, effective from 1 January 2021.

The promotion strengthens the firm’s Corporate & Technology Group. Olivier has been with the firm for more than 5 years and has a wealth of experience in our core areas of expertise.

Olivier is a member of the Antwerp Bar and is fluent in Dutch, English and French. Olivier has over the years assisted corporates, investors, start-ups and scale-ups in the structuring, negotiation and execution of their innovation and growth strategies, from strategic intellectual asset protection and enforcement to complex corporate partnerships and transactions. He also advises Belgian and international clients in mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings and venture capital transactions.

He is a frequent speaker on a large variety of topics at various incubator and accelerator programs for technology start-ups and scale-ups.

Olivier is a 2008 graduate of the Faculty of Law at the University of Leuven and holds holds a Master of Business Law from the Université libre de Bruxelles (2009) and a Master of Company Law from the University of Leuven (2013).

Senior Associate promotion – Emilie Praet

Cresco is furthermore proud to announce the promotion of Emilie Praet to Senior Associate, effective from January 1, 2021:

Emilie Praet is Senior Associate in the dispute resolution practice group, and assists clients in commercial, corporate and IP/IT litigation. She advises a wide range of domestic and international clients on corporate matters such as post-acquisition litigation and shareholder disputes, as well as all types of commercial disputes.
