Cresco supports GreenPulse joint venture and strategic €10M funding by EPICo

Cresco acted as lead legal counsel in the structuring and formation of a new energy infrastructure joint venture between Greenpulse and EPICo II/PMV, EPICo II’s strategic investment in Greenpulse and assisted in the project financing of a portfolio of solar projects to be developed by GreenPulse’s local subsidiaries in Belgium, Germany, Spain and Portugal, and coordinated the share transfers of these local subsidiaries—including in Italy and France, to support the overall transaction structure.

GreenPulse is a long-standing pioneer in the development of large-scale solar energy projects for industrial clients across Belgium and Europe. With this investment from PMV through its EPICo II infrastructure fund, GreenPulse is now set to significantly scale its international growth and continue powering the energy transition.

Congratulations to Manu Jans, the entire GreenPulse team (Blijke De Vos, Liselore Vanpachtenbeke) and the entire EPICo II / PMV team (Tom Mortier, Ruth Van Walle, Pieter Hensen, Godfried Ampe, Timon Terrens) and all parties involved on this exciting milestone!

The Cresco deal team was led by Glenn L’hoëst and David Dessers and consisted further of Hussein Dagher, Fleur Vanswijgenhoven and Nicholas Borgmans, expertly navigated legal and cross border complexities of this transaction, ensuring a smooth and successful closing for all stakeholders.

Many thanks also to the Fieldfisher finance and energy teams, the Tiberghien team (Quentin Masure, Nicholas Derycke) and the local counsels: Kathleen Lemmens, Sergi Giménez Binder, Jorge Ribeiro Mendonça, Dr. Joachim Heinemann and Tristan Segonds.
