Formation of ORSI

Cresco acted as lead counsel in the structuring, formation and fundraising of a new ORSI campus for surgical innovation and minimal invasive surgery.

ORSI Academy is a unique center for surgical innovation and expertise, where industry, clinical and academic partners collaborate in training, R&D and data analysis with the purpose of improving best practices in minimal invasive surgery.

ORSI Academy takes a multidisciplinary approach and works with key opinion leaders from around the globe. Trainings and R&D are backed by scientific research and endorsed by Belgium’s top universities ‘Catholic University of Leuven’ ‘University of Ghent’ and are conducted in close cooperation with industry partners Medtronic and Intuitive.

David Dessers dealt with this transaction and will continue to provide ongoing support to ORSI Academy.
