Formation of Imec.istart Future Fund

Cresco is honoured to have assisted Ruth Janssens and Kris Vandenberk with the structuring, formation and fundraising of imec.istart future fund, a new early-stage fund, with an initial committed capital of €25 million.

Imec.istart future fund aims to make initial and follow-on investments in startups and scaleups, including but not limited to companies within the ecosystem of Leuven-based renowned accelerator for digital startups and scaleups imec.istart.

Initial investors include i.a. PMV, finance&invest.Brussels, Noshaq, ING Belgium, imec, COI, the family office of Clarebout family, other family offices, business angels and tech investors.

David Dessers, Glenn L’hoëst and Dominik Verbist constituted the deal team for this transaction.
