The Signalling Company in Skoda Group acquisition

Cresco acted as lead counsel to The Signalling Company, majority owner Lineas and management in the strategic acquisition by the Czech train manufacturer, Skoda Group.

The strategic sale to Skoda Group will further boost The Signalling Company’s development of safe, future proof and affordable signaling systems for heavy and light rail locomotives.

In 2019 Cresco acted a strategic advisor to Lineas in the design and establishment of the joint venture The Signalling Company with ERTMS Solutions.

The joint venture is a prime example of Cresco’s leadership and expertise in complex corporate partnering models, covering funding and governance, IP protection and monetization, and R&D development, seamlessly integrating all relevant business matters into a workable structure.

The Cresco deal team was led by David Dessers and consisted of Glenn L’hoëst, Lukas Salden & Veerle Brusseleers.
