ThorbiQ in BAN Vlaanderen Investment Round

Cresco assisted ThorbiQ in the structuring, negotiation and closing of its seed investment round.

Lokeren-based ThorbiQ received the funding from a consortium of private investors, united in the Business Angels Netwerk Vlaanderen (BAN Vlaanderen).

ThorbiQ is engaged in helping manufacturers to provide an all-encompassing virtual (BIM) representation of their products to all relevant building actors. The goal? To facilitate BIM use and encourage collaboration in the construction industry. ThorbiQ will use the currently invested resources to finalize and launch its platform. More information can be found on the website of ThorbiQ.

Co-founder Kristof Haerens comments: “The Cresco team has acted as trusted advisor through this financing round. As founders we were delighted to have been assisted in our seed investment round by Cresco and its hands-on team of lawyers with high quality experience in venture capital financing.” Adds Wim Tas, co-founder: “The Cresco team went beyond the normal services we could expect from a law firm, and assisted us with pragmatic, and business oriented legal advice, while truly being approachable around-the-clock. When necessary, the Cresco team went the extra mile. ThorbiQ is looking forward to continue working with Cresco in the future.”

Olivier Van Raemdonck advised on this transaction and Cresco continues to advise ThorbiQ on its business relationships and transactions.
