Cresco is pleased to have advised Spott on its $21 million Series A financing round

Cresco is pleased to have advised Spott on its $21 million Series A financing round, in close cooperation with lead company counsel Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP. The round was led by Balderton Capital, with participation from Base10 Partners, Y Combinator, and Fortino Ventures.

Founded in Leuven, Spott provides an AI-native applicant tracking system (ATS) and CRM platform for recruitment agencies. Its platform turns calls, emails, CVs and conversation history into actionable data, helping recruitment teams work more efficiently, spend less time on administrative tasks and sourcing, and increase placement success rates.

The new funding will support Spott’s continued international growth, including further expansion of its teams in New York and Sydney, deepening its enterprise functionality for large, multi-country deployments, and broadening its proactive agents for data-driven insights.

Congratulations to founders Lander Degrève, Manu Vanderveeren and Samuel Smeys, and the entire Spott team, on this important achievement.

We would also like to thank all other advisors involved for the constructive collaboration throughout the process.

The Cresco deal team consisted of Glenn L’hoëst, Fleur Vanswijgenhoven, Dominik Verbist and Elise Van Belleghem.
