Datashift and Finco in strategic transaction

Cresco is proud to announce its role as sell-side counsel, assisting Datashift’s founder Nico Huybrechts, in the strategic partnership of Datashift, a prominent player in the data-driven consultancy- and analysis industry, with Finco, an established independent private equity player in Belgium.

Since its inception in 2015, Datashift has embarked on an incredible journey. Experiencing year-over-year revenue growth exceeding 50%, the company has evolved from a startup into a formidable powerhouse with a team of over one hundred employees. Datashift’s journey is marked by significant milestones, including successful partnerships, the expansion into new offices, and the launch of specialized divisions, all of which have collectively set the stage for the company’s promising future.

As Datashift commemorates its upcoming 10th anniversary, it embarks on an exciting new chapter of growth, underpinned by the strategic partnership with Finco. This collaboration is poised to further strengthen Datashift’s position as a trailblazer in the industry and open up new avenues for innovation and expansion.

Nico Huybrechts notes on Cresco’s assistance: “From start to beyond finish, I sincerely enjoyed working with David, Glenn and Rutger. Their pragmatism, no-nonsense attitude and business mindset have been instrumental in the set-up and finalization of the transaction. Looking forward to doing a lot more together in the future.

Special thanks goes to Dirk Marckx and the whole Merodis-team, who expertly coordinated this deal.
