Cresco is proud to announce that it has acted as counsel to Welvaartsfonds in the equity financing of Fietsen Wildiers.
Fietsen Wildiers is one of Belgium’s leading bicycle retailers, operating a growing network of stores across Flanders. It offers a wide range of bicycles, e-bikes, and cycling accessories, as well as providing leasing options for both private customers and companies.
The new capital injection supported Fietsen Wildiers’ strategic expansion through the acquisitions of Fietsen Gaethofs and Raida. These acquisitions make Fietsen Wildiers the largest bicycle chain in Belgium, strengthening its market position and enabling further growth and consolidation in the Belgian cycling retail sector.
The deal team, led by David Dessers, consisted of Rutger Duden and Amber Van Cauwenbergh.
