SAP to acquire TechWolf

We’re proud to announce that Cresco acted as Belgian counsel to TechWolf and its selling shareholders in the signing of a definitive agreement for SAP to acquire TechWolf, subject to customary closing conditions.

Founded as a Ghent University project, TechWolf has grown into a global leader in AI-driven workforce intelligence, serving some of the largest companies in the world. The transaction is the largest acquisition of a venture-backed tech company in Belgian history and Belgium’s largest employee liquidity event to date. It also marks a milestone for the Belgian tech and venture ecosystem as a whole.

Cresco’s team consisted of Glenn L’hoëst, David Dessers, Rutger Duden, Ward Verwaeren, Dominik Verbist, Nicholas Borgmans, Hussein Dagher, Aida Kaloci and Axel Desmet.

A particular thank-you to Andreas De Neve and the entire TechWolf team for the continued trust in Cresco over the past years. It has been a privilege to accompany you from the early days and several investment rounds and up to this milestone.

We also thank the Cooley team (Kevin Cooper, Dannielle Collett and Simon Trisk) for the very pleasant and constructive collaboration, and Hendrik Putman and Mark Delanote of KPMG Tax for their excellent support.

Congratulations to the whole wolfpack, and best of luck with this next chapter!

In case of any questions, please contact Glenn L’hoëst.
